"I got one of these bowls as a gift to use for my lunch at work and on my first time using it the glass cracks inside the microwave. I think I was supposed to let it sit and become room temperature after taking it out of the fridge, but thought the point of these containers was their heat resistance"
"I bought my first set of these over 7 years ago and they are by far the best storage containers I’ve ever owned. My greatest fear was breaking one of them and not being able to replace it. Luckily they are still in amazing shape. They have never failed me. I bought my original set at Dillard’s. I am happy to see them still available to purchase."
"These Pyrex containers are not of the same quality as past ones. There is some sort of grip or debris embedded in the bottom of the glass (looks like tiny toast crumbs or specks of dirt). Not crystal clear. So they look dirty. For heaven's sake, how difficult can it be to make a clear glass bowl? Unacceptable at this price point. Note that big box retailers are rolling out their own Pyrex knock-offs. These can't be worse, if the bowls are crystal clear, right?"
"I used ikea glass containers for decades. I liked that they had replacement lids, BUT, the snaps on the lids would break every few months to a point that got absurd. I also felt I'd prefer silicone rather than regular plastic. I bought these, used them for a bit & liked them so much that I bought 2 more sets. It's been quite some time since I bought my 1st set and the silicone still looks great, no issues at all. Once, I got marinara sauce on one, it turned pink & I assumed that oh well, so I have a stained silicone top, it still works, but it came out of the dishwasher white again. Whether that says something about the top or that my dish tablets are just terribly caustic, I cannot say. My only wish for this pyrex style is that it would be very nice if they sold smaller sets of the smaller dishes since the larger ones almost never get used in our small household, & even having bought several sets I still run out of the small round and rectangular pieces."
