Says microwave safe on lid. Its not. Be careful!
"Have the red lid version of this. On the bottom surface of the lids it says that it is microwave safe. So, after owning these for a while now i was happy to find this out. So i gave them a shot in the microwave…. And the lid melted. So, in my mind i was thinking pyrex could at least send me out a new lid. Well they would’nt. I was shocked actually and it gives me pause now about how i feel about the company. I mean come on. Potentially lose a customer over, my guess, a 25 cent lid company cost? Yes it was past the 2 year warranty…. I acknowledge that, but the lids definitely should not say microwave safe either."

Older Pyrex dishes. . .
"This is not about new dishes I have purchased! However if it were I would be praising Pyrex for making such great storage bowls. I have had mine for many, many years and won't buy any other brand. My problem is I need 2 more 4 cup bowls and cannot find that set anywhere. Why is it so hard to put 2 of the 4cup bowls in a set? Love my Pyrex!!!"
