Why oh why is this discontinued?
"I do not use plastic or silicone lids. I use glass casseroles with glass lids for all fridge food storage. I also do large buffet style parties and put these on big warmers. They work so well! Unfortunately, someone managed to chip one of my lids by ramming it in my stove drawer. Now I wish I'd kept it and filed down the sharp edges, because I can't replace it! Why does Pyrex want to avoid glass lids? Everyone is trying to get away from plastic, and the news about silicone isn't good. I don't understand this marketing decision. It seems far behind the times."

Need more glass lid products
"In my opinion more glass lid dishes would be very popular. Especially patterned ones. I hate using aluminum foil or other things to cover glass dishes while baking"

"I purchased the Pyrex Deep dish because it's efficient for cooking and for storage, and it's lead free. It's also solid product, so I'm not worried about chipping or breakage. Great innovation!"
