Ridiculous prices for replacement lids
"I’ve lost several lids along the way and have previously purchased replacement ones even though at that time, years ago, I felt the prices were excessive. But $10 /lid is ridiculous. Not only ridiculous, offensive to the customer. The explanation for sets being cheaper because they are more efficient or some such nonsense is purely the choice of Pyrex. You don’t have to work in manufacturing to recognize the production of a glass product and a rubber/plastic product at a 1:1 ratio offers no economies. This is a marketing decision and the decision is to exploit the customer."
